Our Greater Sudbury Police Service Tactical team would have been gearing up to rappel down Health Sciences North (HSN) to greet our littlest superheroes in attendance and on the Pediatric Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). For the past four years, our NEO Kids and little heroes stood in awe as they watched Spiderman and Venom battle down HSN, Superman save the day, and Hulk come to the rescue! Although, this year looks very different for many of us, it especially looks different for our NEO Kids and littlest heroes who don t get to meet their favourite superheroes.
Over the past four years, we’ve received tremendous support from over 1,000 attendees and supporters such as yourself, raising over $70,000. Your support has helped change the lives of so many of our NEO Kids and their families across the Northeast. We are truly thankful.
We are hopeful you will be interested in supporting us again this year and ask you to please consider making a donation in honour of our tiniest heroes. We sincerely thank you for your on-going support of
Superheroes for Little Heroes, and we look forward to seeing you again in the very near future.
No gift is too small and every gift makes a BIG difference.
“Our team in the NICU and Pediatric Unit look forward to this event every year! We dress up as superheroes and participate in the fun. It’s such an exciting day in the unit for the children and their families. There is nothing like seeing our NEO Kids elated by their heroes. They first see them rappel from the rooftop, and then they get an in-person private meeting! Their smiles are as big as these heroes hearts and we want to thank them for their commitment to improving children’s quality of life during their hospital stay”
