Profile: Dr. Murray
Dr. Murray is the Chief of Pediatrics and Medical Director for the NEO Kids & Family Program. Born and raised in Greater Sudbury, Dr. Murray completed a Bachelor of Science at Laurentian University before completing medical school at Ottawa University. After completing his residency at Sick Kids, he returned to Greater Sudbury.
As a patient at Sick Kids in his youth, Dr. Murray knows the importance of providing health care for children in northeastern Ontario. At NEO Kids, he can see patients anywhere from birth to 18 years and with a variety of health issues.
“One of the things I like most about working with NEO Kids is the team atmosphere that is present. With each pediatrician and nurse, there is a specialty or program that they cover. I am very proud of my colleagues, and the progress they can make with each and every patient.”
Outside of work, Dr. Murray is a huge sports fan and jumps at the chance of playing hockey whenever he can.
